1987 Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour chartered
1990 Received the Club’s first Rotary Matching Grant in India

Established first sister club relationship with the Rotary Club of Makati Legaspi in Manila, Philippines

1991 Inducted the first lady member Rtn. Shirley Chung

Dr. Anita Leung Fung-yee became the Club’s first Honorary Member

Established the first service partnership with Yuk Chi Resource Centre

Participated in Matilda Sedan Race and Bazaar in Aid of Charity

1992 Sponsored a pony named “Harbour Frosty” for the Riding for Disabled School
1995 Moved meeting venue from Excelsior Hotel to Regal Hongkong Hotel

Launched “Project Wok”, building satellite dishes for poor and remote villages in China

1996 Formed the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour Foundation Ltd.

Established sister club relationship with the Rotary Club of Pudu in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

1997 Renovated two schools in Anhui, China
1998 Chartered Interact Club of Ho Fung College
2000 PP Veronica DeKrey became the first lady president

Built a Primary School in Shaoguan, Guangdong, China

2001 Established service partnership with Hong Kong Island Region of Scout Association of Hong Kong and launched Walkathon for fund raising
2005 Established service partnership with Home Care for Girls

Established sister club relationship with the Rotary Club of Taipei Mingmen, Taiwan

2008 Changed from English speaking club to English and Chinese speaking club
2010 Established service partnership with Amity Foundation and built 10 Village Clinics in Guizhou, China
2011 Constructed a Water Supply System in Guizhou, China

Committed to be an “Every Rotarian Every Year” Club

Established sister club relationship with the Rotary Club of Taoyuan Southeast, Taiwan

2013 Sponsored 3 girls in the U for Girls Project in Guizhou, China

Initiated a Matching Grant for building a Multi-Sensory Room for Yuk Chi Resource Centre

2014 PP Belinda Yeung became the Club’s first District Governor

2015 Built Water Purification Systems for 5 Schools in Yunnan Province, China

Chartered the Club’s first baby club, the Rotary E-Club of Lantau
