In 2001 the Club established another service partnership with HK Island Region of Scout Association of Hong Kong. The Club participated in co-organizing Island Scout Trail Walk. Through this Trail Walk, branded as the Club’s Charity Walkathon, the Club raised funds for the Community Service projects for less-privileged people in the community. The Walkathon became the Club’s annual fund raising program since then.
Home Care for Girls is another service partner the Club teamed up in 2005. This charity organization houses and takes care of young school girls suffering domestic violence or unable to live with their families due to various reasons. It provides a safe and caring home-like environment where these girls can experience compassion and live a stable life away from problematic family situations. Girls would learn to deal with challenges in life and work towards a brighter future.
