On October 23, Governor Cassy Cheng met with our Club’s Board of Directors and attended our Club’s regular meeting. With her from District was Assistant Governor Wilson, District Secretary Alex Lau and Deputy District Secretary Helen Chan. The day’s proceeding began with Governor Cassy meeting with our Board of Directors, who took turns to present our Club’s year plan. Then, Governor Cassy gave a presentation during our lunch meeting on the vision of current Rotary International President Francesco Arezzo, and her goals and expectations for the year. Assistant Governor Wilson and other District leaders also chimed in to voice their support of our Club.
On October 12, Past President Lily led members and spouses to donate blood. Participating members included Past Presidents Dora, Ricky, Webster and Eliza, and Rotarianne Sara. Past President Jason also joined to support.
On October 9, Rotarian Joanna talked casually about her life as a lawyer. Many members and spouses attended Rotarian Joanna’s sharing.
