Fundraising Night Walk

On April 18, members of our Club joined a meaningful fundraising night walk organized with Scouts Island Region at Tai Tam Reservoir. President David, Past Presidents Grace, WT, Dora, Lily, Mark and Jason, together with around two dozen participants from our Rotary family, took part in this special evening activity. The night walk offered a unique opportunity to learn about nature and the importance of conservation. Participants were introduced to the principles of “leave no trace,” reinforcing the responsibility we all share in protecting our environment. Interactors from King’s College and St. Clare’s Girls’ School, as well as Rotaractors from the Rotaract Club of HKU Lap Chee College International, joined the event, adding youthful energy and enthusiasm to the experience. Assistant Governor Wilson also participated in support of the initiative, further highlighting the collaborative spirit of the Rotary community. Surrounded by the calm and beauty of Tai Tam Reservoir at night, the event was both educational and inspiring, strengthening bonds across generations while promoting environmental stewardship.

39th Anniversary Party

On March 21, many members of our Club gathered at Royal Pacific Hotel to celebrate our Club’s 39th Anniversary, a joyful occasion filled with fellowship and celebration. The evening was honored by the presence of representatives from Rotary Club of Taoyuan Southeast and Rotary Club of Taipei Mingmen, as well as our daughter Club, Rotary E-Club of Lantau, and granddaughter Club, Rotary Club of Neoteric Hong Kong. Assistant Governor Wilson also attended in support, alongside our Honorary Member Vivien, adding to the warmth and significance of the celebration. The dinner was lively and memorable, with members and visiting Rotarians enjoying the opportunity to reconnect and strengthen friendships. Following the formal program, many continued the celebrations with after-party drinks, extending the spirit of fellowship late into the evening.

Rotaract installation

On September 27, Charter President Patrick led a Club delegation including Past Presidents Eddie and Lily, and Rotarian Ka Man to attend the Club installation of Rotaract Club of HKU Lap Chee College International. Rotarians mingled with Rotaractors, who are eager to work with Rotarians on different services. President Destiny Brown gave a detailed plan of upcoming activities. The installation was also attended by Assistant Governor Wilson Shum, District Rotaract Chair Gabriel Wong, District Rotaract Representative Billy Ho, and Deputy District Rotaract Chair Steven Wong.
