On March 15, Island Scout Trail Walk 2026, our signature Club event, was held in partnership with Hong Kong Scouts Island Region. The event began early in the morning when the first teams started their 50km run, but a kick-off ceremony was held at Chi Fu podium at around noon. The prize presentation ceremony was held later in the afternoon at The Peak. The kick-off ceremony was led by Past President Grace, with Past Presidents Mark and Jason in attendance. The prize presentation ceremony was led by President David. District Governor Cassy also attended the ceremony and helped to congratulate prize winners.
On March 3, President David, and Past Presidents Grace and Jason met with leaders of Hong Kong Scouts Island Region to discuss the annual Island Scout Trail Walk, of which our Club is a co-organizer.
On May 18, Past President Mark attended the Island Scout Trail Walk 2025 Virtual Run Prize Presentation Ceremony. Past President Mark also had the opportunity to present trophies to cub scouts who have walked over 500km over a 3-month period!
On March 30, Island Scout Trail Walk 2025 was held along Hong Kong Trail. Our Club was a co-organizer of the event. President David officiated the opening ceremony at Chi Fu Podium Gardens at noon, and presented several awards at The Peak in the afternoon on behalf of Governor Nigel.
On April 28, President Jason represented our Club to attend the Prize Presentation Ceremony for Virtual Walk, organized by Scout Hong Kong Island Region.
On March 17, Island Scout Trail Walk 2024 was successfully held. Island Scout Trail Walk 2024 was organized by Hong Kong Scouts Island Region and co-organized by our Club. District Governor Andy joined to present the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour Trophy to the top team.
On March 14, our Club hosted the Rotary Year’s Third Club Assembly. Plenty were discussed, including Walkathon with Hong Kong Scouts Island Region and our Anniversary Celebratory events.
On January 8, President Jason and President Elect David met with our friends at Island Scout Hong Kong Region to discuss the 2024 Island Scout Trail Walk.
President Eliza and President Elect Jason went to the Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) II in the morning session in Alexandra Hotel before getting on a taxi to Chi Fu, Pokfulam for the Opening Ceremony of the Scout Trail Walk where Past Presidents Grace, Dora, Eddie and ex-member Past Presidents Theresa and Kennedy were there together with Yuk Chi Resources Centre’s team. Then President Elect Jason rushed back to attend the afternoon session of the PETS II. After the opening ceremony, Yuk Chi’s team together with children and parents hopped on a coach to go to the Peak. Meanwhile, President Eliza walked the steep route from Pokfulam to the Peak together with her brother and Ms. Laura Lo, one of this year’s speakers during our regular meetings and a senior scout leader. Past President Mark joined in right before the Peak walk together with President Eliza and team. District Governor Norman and his wife Isa joined the award ceremony at 4:30pm and presented Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour Award to the 50km walk winners. President Eliza and President Elect Jason attended a meeting with Hong Kong Scouts Island Region at the Hong Kong Scouts Centennial Building. This year, both physical andvirtual runs are on, with the cornerstone physical race to be held on March 19, 2023.
